Habitrio ("the App") is developed and maintained by Markus Bitner ("we," "our," or "us").

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Stored Locally

The App tracks and stores your habit data locally on your device, including:

• Habit names, types (numerical or boolean), and goal values
• Daily completion status and progress history
• Streak information and statistics
• Notification preferences and settings

The App stores all this data locally on your device and does not transmit it to our servers without your explicit consent.

1.2 Optional Subscription Data

If you choose to subscribe to Habitrio Premium, we collect:

• Your subscription status and purchase information through Apple's App Store
• Your device's App Store account information (managed by Apple, not by us)

1.3 Future Data Collection (Planned Features)

In future versions, we may:

• Collect anonymized usage analytics to improve the App
• Offer optional cloud backup or data synchronization features
• Collect your email address for account management (if accounts are implemented)

Any such collection will be clearly disclosed within the App, and you will have the option to opt in or out where applicable.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your habit data solely to:

• Display your progress and streaks within the App
• Send you notifications related to your habits (if enabled)
• Improve the App's functionality and user experience

If email collection is implemented in the future, we may use your email address to:

• Send important updates about the App

We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers or third parties.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

• Habit data and settings stored locally remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App
• Clearing the App from your device will remove all locally stored habit information
• If we collect emails or other personal data in the future, you will have the right to request deletion by contacting us at markus@apps.markusbitner.com

4. Third-Party Services

Currently, the App does not use third-party analytics or advertising networks.

Subscription processing is handled by Apple's App Store, which is subject to Apple's privacy policies.

If third-party services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated, and we will comply with applicable laws regarding notice and consent.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data stored on your device. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We recommend protecting your device with a strong passcode.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App and/or on our website, with the effective date revised accordingly.
